Chelated Nutrients

Chelates can be defined as the set of molecules formed from the connection of a metal ion to an organic charger, usually being amino acids, carbohydrates or proteins, through covalent bonds that allow the resulting molecule to have virtually no electrical charge. In agriculture, they are used in the formulation of fertilizers, with the objective of increasing the effectiveness of the products, as well as their use by the plants, protecting the nutrients against chemical reactions that occur in the spray water, in the leaves, in the branches of the plants and in the soil. . Its properties also allow changing and optimizing the work in the field through simultaneous applications of fertilizers and pesticides, since they are fully compatible with most agricultural products. Currently, chelates are classified according to their efficiency, according to the ability to chelate a certain nutrient. In this way, some of them are efficient for chelating certain nutrients, but weak for others. It is essential that a chelate has the chelating capacity for all nutrients. To meet the needs of producers in all these areas, producers develop a line of chelated products, whose chelating or complexing agent is the compound EDTA (ethylenediamine tetra-acetic acid) or several other complexing agents, which form very stable complexes with several metal ions . All products in the chelated line are 100% complexed, which means that they are quickly absorbable and effective even at doses 6 to 10 times smaller when compared to other sources of nutrients, such as oxides and sulfates. In addition, due to its origin, its production follows the standards of restrictions on heavy metals.

Calcium 10 EDTA is a fertilizer that contains 10% Calcium chelated by high performance EDTA. Prevents the burning of leaf edges and corrects the calcium deficiencies of plants quickly and efficiently.

Iron 6 EDDHA is a fertilizer containing 6% high performance EDDHA chelated iron. Maximum efficiency in the control of iron deficiency chlorosis.

Boron 11 is a liquid fertilizer with 11% boron chelated by high performance etalonamine. Prevents internerval chlorosis. It favors flowering, fertilization and fruit development.

Zinc 15 EDTA is a fertilizer with 15% Zinc chelated by high performance EDTA. Prevents and corrects deficiencies such as internerval chlorosis, decreased leaf size and poor branch formation.
