SBS is used for pH reduction in swimming pools and spas. SBS is the safest product to use for home and institutional pools and spas. Usually, 1-2 lbs. applied in a 10,000 gallon pool will adequately reduce the PH. Used as flux for decomposing minerals; substitute for sulphuric acid in dyeing; disinfectant; manufacture of sodium hydrosulphide, sodium sulphate & soda alum; liberating carbondioxide in carbonic acid baths, in thermophores; carbonising wool; manufacture of magnesiacements, paper, soap, perfumes, foods, industrial cleaners, metal pickling compounds; as detergent for ceramic, marble and toilet. |
